Senior Sales Support – Data Center Planning

EPD supports a wide range of customer applications across the globe, including providing back-up power to hospitals, providing emergency power when natural disasters strike, and supporting critical infrastructure for data centers, municipalities, and more. **Role Definition** Senior Sales Support Consultant will support key global accounts within the Electric Power Division, focusing on power solutions (gensets, enclosures, aftertreatment, etc.) that support datacenters. You will coordinate and lead global account sales and operations processes through cross functional teams to establish factory-level request for products, manage client pipeline order entry and scheduling, monitor account sales plans, and shape demand/supply with focus on delivering business results and desired customer outcomes. **What you will do:** + Gather, analyze, and manage key customer demand data from multiple sources for keeping information accurate for effective processing of account forecast and orders. + Work with cross-functional groups to compile information necessary to develop and maintain pipeline orders. + Facilitate internal and external business partners make recommendations to demand fulfillment priorities that meet customer needs + Establish and maintain compatibility logic for customers, dealers, products and attachments. + Train, lead, guide teams, communicate key priorities, and execute the sales and operations process by providing analysis and recommendations for leaders, while also driving process improvements. **What you have:** Planning and Organizing - Level Expert: + Manages links among multiple projects and anticipates the impact of the project's outcome on all concerned. + Synthesizes pertinent information to plan a course of action. + Documents plans with clear objectives, action steps, accountabilities, resource requirements and timelines. + Tracks successes in order to establish processes viewed as effective for the entire enterprise. + Proficiency in Excel and automation of data. Decision Making and Critical Thinking - Level Extensive Experience: + Evaluates past decisions for insights to improve decision-making process. + Assesses and validates decision options and points and predicts their potential impact. + Advises others in analyzing and synthesizing relevant data and assessing alternatives. Problem Solving - Level Extensive Experience: + Ensures capture of lessons to be learned from a problem-solving effort. + Uses varying problem-solving approaches and techniques as appropriate. + Contributes to standard practices for problem-solving approaches, tools, and processes. + Analyzes and synthesizes information and devises alternative resolution strategies. Customer Focus - Level Extensive Experience: + Fosters strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and on-going feedback/improvement. + Anticipates customer needs, focusing efforts to proactively meet needs and exceed customer expectations. + Measures and observes customer satisfaction levels to ascertain and implement service improvement alternatives.
