Ferguson is offering an exciting opportunity for a talented remote Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our IT Home Engineering Team, within the Ferguson IT organization. This role will report directly to the Manager of Software Engineering.
As a Senior Salesforce Application Administrator, you will be responsible for enhancing our residential customer Salesforce instance, Build.com. You will work with our development team which consists of junior Admins, Developers, a System Architect and a Product Owner, to deliver a best-in-class customer experience for our internal and external customers. You will assist with designing and implementing best practice solutions. Along with the team, you will support over 3000 users.
**This role is approved to be Remote within the United States in accordance with company policy.**
Duties and Responsibilities:User and license management including but not limited to managing roles, profiles, permission sets, groups, and queues.Perform regular security audits and recommend/implement changes to ensure access to platforms and data is secure.Work with users and collaborators to identify and understand problems and processes to determine solutions.Support administrators working with systems and platforms that integrate with Salesforce or rely on Salesforce data.Make configuration changes including, but not limited to, Flow, Process Builder, Page Layouts, Record Types and Custom Fields.Help users build and manage reports and dashboards as needed.Perform regular audits of platform data integrity and complete data model maintenance and data cleansing.Proactive system maintenance including regularly reviewing and implementing critical updates.Test customizations and platform functionality ahead of major platform releases.User onboarding.Qualifications and Requirements:Minimum of 7 years hands-on Salesforce Admin experience.Salesforce Admin Certifications.Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in business, technology or a related field.Ability to build relationships and liaise with collaborators at all levels of the company.Ability to distill user feedback and translate into clear and actionable technical solutions.Willingness to share knowledge with team members and colleagues.Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Permissions.Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security model.Experience working with SFDC Sales Cloud and Omni Channel.Experience working in ecommerce or other B2C environment.Experience building reports and dashboards.Experience customizing the platform (e.g. custom fields, page layouts, record types, etc.).Experience using Salesforce automation tools (Flow Integration, Process Builder, etc.) .Experience utilizing Sandboxes for building and deploying customizations and enhancements.Basic SOQL knowledge.Ability to utilize the Github release cycle.Dedication to continued learning and personal/professional development.Excellent listening and communications skills.Excellent problem-solving skills.Understanding of basic Apex is a plus.At Ferguson, we care for each other. Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
