CGI, a Platinum Salesforce Implementation Partner, is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer. Our Senior Salesforce Developer will rely on their growing technical skills and current experience to design, estimate, present, and deliver cloud implementation technical solutions with clean, well-organized, and expressive code to CGI’s Salesforce customer base. This person will work with our clients (on-site or at local CGI office) to understand their business needs and help deliver value through technology using Salesforce.
This position can be located in Dallas, Texas. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
How you'll make an impact:
1) Participate in Client meetings during the coming phases in the Project.
2) Review the estimations/tasks as per the requirement’s matrix and ensure the changes are documented.
3) Co-ordinate offshore team and align them to the onshore counterparts in terms of deliverables/timelines.
4) As technical lead – identify number of resources required for the technical tasks , Assign tasks , monitor the progress and ensure completion of the tasks assigned to the technical team members as per the time lines.
5) Preparing technical specifications from the plan for the technical deliverables ( existing interfaces , new interfaces).
6) Design, Develop the new interfaces and changes to the existing interfaces as part of the project - Ensure changes to the existing interfaces/ new interfaces are in sync with the technical specifications.
7) Identify all changes that are flowing as part of the socialization process and ensure the changes are documented/reflected in the technical specifications from time to time.
8) Review the progress of the technical deliverables from time to time and update to the stake holders
9) Co-ordinate various teams involved during different testing phases ( UT, IT , UAT ) for the project
10) Trouble shoot/analyze the testing errors and changes to the developments.
11) Ensure proper test cases are identified and processed during the UT/IT phases as per the business requirement to confirm the development work is in proper alignment with the technical specifications.
• 2 – 5 years of prior Salesforce and Force.com experience
• Experience with front-end and back-end development including: Aura Framework, Lightning Web Component(LWC), Visualforce, Apex, REST and SOAP-based web services, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance management
• Exceptional knowledge of object-oriented concepts and development experience with design patterns including MVC
• Understanding of relational databases, including work with SOQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or other common RDBMS
• Experience with driving data migrations between Salesforce and other systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting integrations issues with clients and internal team members
• Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment
• Willingness to be flexible and manage competing priorities and last-minute requests
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - must be able to effectively convey information and recommendations to clients (technical and none-technical)
• Proven ability to move solution through entire SDLC from inception through maintenance. Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Ability to recognize and nurture opportunities for new business
• Salesforce Platform Developer Certification or other object-oriented programming certification, preferred
• Approximately 5-10 years of experience in software development or programming.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800- $185,800.
