Summary: 

 

Martin Marietta is seeking a Senior SAN Administrator. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of NetApp SAN administration experience.  The candidate is an ONTAP subject matter expert.  This individual will manage multiple storage arrays, address data tiering, and help a growing team support enterprise data infrastructure.  

 

This role reports to the Manager of Systems Administration at the Company’s headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

Responsibilities: 

 

       Install and setup modern clusters with ONTAP 9.x        Setup and maintain monitoring and alerting vis-à-vis storage        Manages Volumes and LUNs        Performs Snapshot planning        Routinely performs storage provisioning and Vserver setup        Array performance analysis and troubleshooting (block, NAS, object)        Handles network and LIF design and management        Plans host ALUA configuration        NAS, Snapshot and quota management 

 

Requirements: 

 

5+ years of experience with NetApp FAS, AFF, and Storage Grid arrays Has broad experience provisioning and maintaining NetApp block, file and object storageBroad experience addressing storage hardware and software issues Experience with long-term care of enterprise storage environmentsWorking knowledge of SnapLock, FPolicy, NetApp Active IQ and other data tools Has working knowledge of SAN and converged switching (FC & FCoE)Describe security concepts, strategies and predefined configurationsFlexPod experience is a plus Understands ONTAP licensing and complianceAdmins SSL certificate management as it relates to FabricPool and ONTAP
