The SAP Analyst Consultant will be mainly responsible to support and solve problems in SAP FI/CO and SD related areas. Manage user authorization in SAP. Oversee the planning, design, development, and implementation of user-friendly digital solutions and system/process enhancements. Analyze and optimize existing business functions, integrate SAP processes and solutions across multiple business units and applications. Provide expert advice and resolve complex SAP-related issues.

Role and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO, Month End Closure)

Support problem solving in SAP FICO, AP/AR, General Ledger, Inter-Company Accounting

Lead IT projects, ensuring successful execution on time, within scope and on budget

Mentor and support the SAP consulting and support teams

Develop and maintain effective communication, working relationships, and agreements with internal business units, local, regional and HQ IT teams, external customers

Gather and document business requirements from business meetings and discussions, identify gaps, propose solutions

Daily systems monitoring, analyzing and issue resolution

Manage user access to SAP systems, manage authorization system

Conduct regular reviews and audits of user access to ensure compliance with HQ policies

Provide support for user access issues and implement timely resolutions

Perform month-end closing activities making sure that financials are in sync

Perform daily reconciliation monitoring and provide analysis including root cause and resolution

Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team in HQ

Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required

Work self-directed and independently, may act as a subject matter mentor to business users

Other duties as assigned by IT Director

Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways

Work on complex issues where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. Exercise judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates other's tasks

May manage a group such as coordinating activities regarding costs, methods and staffing

Skills and Qualifications

Education:

University degree or Colleague equivalent (Business Administration, Commerce or Accounting preferred)

Certification in SAP (R3/HANA)

Knowledge and Qualifications:

Expert knowledge FI/CO

Deep knowledge in Fi integration with SAP module like SD/MM

SAP programing knowledge would be an asset

Deep knowledge of business processes: sales, payments, reconciliation, AR/AP, GL, etc.

Understanding of eCOMM operation (clearing and settlement in SAP)

Familiar with different type of payments and various systems (HYBRIS, Affirm, PayPal, VISA, Mastercard, etc.

Understanding of SAP authorization objects, roles, profiles and user management

Exposure to S/4 HANA and SAP authorization in SAP HANA

Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Fluency Korean would be an asset

Experience:

7+ Years related experience preferred

Typically requires at least 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years

Minimum of 3 years SAP experience supporting General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-Company Accounting
