Part of the GDS strategy, BASF Shared Services Center Kuala Lumpur (BSSCKL) is one of the established Digital Hub for APAC region. 

 

The Plant Maintenance and Engineering Project Solutions Team, delivers and runs digital applications for internal users worldwide. Working agilely, we partner and consult with stakeholders to innovate solutions proactively across multiple technology platforms around SAP to anticipate future needs. 

 

 

 

Main Job Responsibilities

 

Demonstrating your proficiency in the SAP Module ‘Project System” you will develop, test and support our SAP R3 system, as well as go with us through the migration to S4 Hana. 

 

Technical design of application enhancements  Development of those applications by using state-of-the-art programming methods and ensuring compliance with all relevant BASF guidelines for development Management of complex development environments using both internal and external resources Ensuring runnable, supportable and stable solutions from a technical point of view Testing and error correction activities Contribution to planning and provides cost estimations for complex projects Support of (functional) Solution Design Documents creation 

 

 

Requirements

 

Education

Degree in Computer Science, informatics, business informatics or in a comparable field 

 

 

Working Experience

Minimum 6 years related working experience with complex SAP applications. 

 

 

Technical Experience  (Mandatory)

 

Excellent ABAP OO skills Strong ABAP for Cloud Development skills (e.g. SAP BTP, SAP RAP/CAP) Working in an international environment, excellent English language skills 

 

Technical Experience (Desired/ Nice to Have)

 

Strong understanding of integration scenarios with OData and SOAP endpoints, Integration via CPI and API development and management Experience with SAP Fiori Element and/or SAP Freestyle UI5 Knowledge of SAP Web Dynpro/Floorplan Manager  Experience with agile frameworks like Scrum or KanbanFunctional knowledge of processes in SAP PS, ePPM or FI/CO SAP Embedded analytic ABAP Core data Services
