Daily Challenges

Provide technical support and leadership in a complex mission critical SAP environmentProvide day to day operations support and on-call support 7x24 on a rotational basisPerform 2nd level support to all customers infrastructure and develop solutions to stabilize customer environmentsContribute to infrastructure projects and tasks, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge.Use tools for remote management and alert monitoringResponsible for incident / service call investigation, diagnosis, resolutions where possible or dispatching to the relevant higher-level supportBe involved in full cycle development, deployment to go-liveForecast technology requirements based on client's needsProvide SAP expertise in the customer engagement teamDevelop, mature and ensure compliance of technology standards and solutionsShow eagerness to learn and grow in a technical role.Develop foundational technical skills and knowledge.

eXperience and skills required

SAP basis administration experience (SAP Basis ABAP/JAVA), typically 2+ yearsKnowledge & experience with databases administration: Oracle, MaxDB, MSSQL, DB2, HANAExperience in Unix/ Linux system administrationWindows OS knowledge (basics of administration)Basic knowledge of SQLBasic knowledge of IP ServicesAnalytical problem-solving skillsCustomer and service orientationGood communications skillsProven experience in infrastructure technology analysisFluent written and spoken English (German or other additional foreign language is advantage)

This will be considered as an advantage:

Experience in Backup environments and knowledgeRelevant certifications are a plus (Cloud, SAP, Linux, DB…)
