In the role of Senior Scheduler, we'll count on you to:Review contractor baseline schedule submissions, verifying work scope identification and sequence, and providing written feedback.Work directly with the construction manager team in performing quality control on contractor schedules, reviewing critical path, cost loading, resource loading, content, recovery schedules, logic relationships, constraints, and milestones.Identify project interdependencies within Primavera P6 and identifying potential time and location impacts that require interface management.Update the utility relocation schedules.Update entitlement and land acquisition schedules.Provide updates and prepares reports for upper management to meet Key Performance Indicators.Interface with Project Managers and other site staff and contractors regarding CPM schedules, project scope, and budget.Independently interpret and read detailed construction drawings to understand work scope.Conduct time impact analysis for change orders and negotiates delay time settlements with contractors.Analyze drawings to determine work scope and contract compliance for time extension merit.Perform critical path analysis and earned value analysis.Conduct site visits as needed to check contractor schedule progress and reports findings.Communicate effectively with contractors regarding schedule and progress matters in weekly and other meetings.Perform regular program schedule quality control reviews.Update program and master schedules monthly.Prepare reports as directed by management.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s in engineering or construction management or related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience as a construction scheduler with significant experience on highway and bridge projects. Projects valuing over $100M a plusExperienced specialist in CPM scheduling and reportingProficient (5 years) in the use of Primavera P6 and cost and resource loaded schedule managementExperience with and a solid understanding of the construction industry, job site safety requirements, planning and scheduling, building trades and sequence of work, and relevant technology.PMP (Project Management Professional) or AACE certification (CCP or PSP) is a plus.Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, solution-oriented approach towards teamwork, and problem solver.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree A minimum of 10 years Construction Scheduling Proficiency in using Primavera, and/or other scheduling software Experience with cost and resource loaded schedules required An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
