About the role

As a Senior Planner / Scheduler, you will support our bid team in securing new business opportunities by analysing and refining resource requirements. You will also be instrumental in optimising road network closures to enhance productivity and efficiency, ultimately reducing costs and improving service delivery.

Key responsibilities

Develop and manage works schedules using the Works Management Information System Create and maintain the Annual Maintenance Program, ensuring optimal resource allocation Analyse resource requirements for planned work, including tunnel closures and corrective maintenance Collaborate with estimators, bid teams, engineers, and supervisors to refine project schedules Monitor live field crew performance and optimise task prioritisation for efficient delivery Develop comprehensive reporting structures for tracking progress and ensuring compliance Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners Promote a culture of Zero Harm, ensuring safety is a top priority in all operations

What you’ll bring

5+ years of experience in planning and scheduling, preferably in road maintenance or infrastructure Expertise in dynamic works program management and scheduling software Strong ability to analyse data and optimise resource planning A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project/Construction Management, Planning, IT, or equivalent industry experience A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and best practice in asset management
