Role Description:

For our Business Unit Innovation & Experts within the "Project controls" department in our global division Places, we are seeking motivated colleagues at our locations across Germany as schedulers for international major design & construction projects. We collaborate with clients worldwide to create, enhance, and optimize intelligent, secure, and sustainable places where people live, work, learn, and thrive.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Scheduler in our Project Controls team, you will contribute to the realization of some of the largest and most exciting building and industrial construction projects in a predominantly international team. Your agility, customer focus, and attention to detail will help shape the significant transformative initiatives of our national and international clients.

Your tasks include:

Independently creating detailed construction project schedules from project initiation through planning, approval, construction realization and commissioning, considering customer requirements and planning, construction, and commissioning processes; Proactively identifying potential schedule risks and developing preventive measures; Continuously monitoring, adjusting, and optimizing schedules throughout the project lifecycle; Conducting critical path analyses and schedule variance comparisons to assess actual project performance against planned timelines; Collaborating closely with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations; Assisting in estimation and proposal development, interfacing with D&E and Project Controls; Providing regular updates to clients on scheduling status and internal project teams on progress and any delays.

Qualifications & Experience:

You share our passion for improving quality of life and client satisfaction. In addition to a strong team mentality and the required methodological competence, you bring:

Master degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Business Engineering, or a comparable field; Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a project management role as Lead Scheduler, Project Controls, or Project Manager for complex international major projects; Good communication skills to interact with vendors and other stakeholders; Experience collaborating within large international (project) teams; Solid Proficiency in scheduling software Primavera P6; Excellent knowledge of common and innovative planning, procurement, and construction processes in major projects, ideally for Data Centers; Proficient English language skills, especially in technical terms; German language skills B1 or better beneficial; National and international willingness to travel, including multi-day trips.
