**Overview** **Job Locations** : Shanghai/Nanjing, China **Department** : Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) Service Department **Responsibilities** + Lead the research and services of in vitro ADME studies (including CYP inhibition and induction, CYP phenotyping, and UGT phenotyping, etc). + Provide scientific guidance to DMPK personnel on the above areas + Manage daily operation of the group + Prepare protocol, cost analysis, and quotation suggestion for new business + May serve as DMPK representative in integrated program + Provide business development strategy and conduct process improvement/optimization + Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations of WuXi AppTec + Potentially manage a team with accountabilities to develop talents and to expand the team + Allocate resource to projects and supervise all on-going projects to ensure data quality and on-time delivery. Be able to build and establish good relationship with client via strong scientific knowledge and professional people skills **Qualifications** + A Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical/life sciences with strong understanding of drug metabolism enzymes, drug-drug interaction is required. + Working knowledge of lab automation, pharmacokinetic data analysis, and interpretation of DMPK properties relevant to drug development. + Working knowledge of DMPK related regulations and regulatory guidelines from ICH, FDA, EMA, and NMPA. + Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese + Demonstrated management and leadership skills. **Need help finding the right job?** We can recommend jobs specifically for you!
