Department: Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) Service Department

Responsibilities Lead the research and services of in vitro ADME studies (including CYP inhibition and induction, CYP phenotyping, and UGT phenotyping, etc).Provide scientific guidance to DMPK personnel on the above areasManage daily operation of the groupPrepare protocol, cost analysis, and quotation suggestion for new businessMay serve as DMPK representative in integrated programProvide business development strategy and conduct process improvement/optimizationEnsure compliance with all applicable regulations of WuXi AppTecPotentially manage a team with accountabilities to develop talents and to expand the teamAllocate resource to projects and supervise all on-going projects to ensure data quality and on-time delivery. Be able to build and establish good relationship with client via strong scientific knowledge and professional people skills Qualifications A Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical/life sciences with strong understanding of drug metabolism enzymes, drug-drug interaction is required. Working knowledge of lab automation, pharmacokinetic data analysis, and interpretation of DMPK properties relevant to drug development.Working knowledge of DMPK related regulations and regulatory guidelines from ICH, FDA, EMA, and NMPA.Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese Demonstrated management and leadership skills.
