Senior Scientist

The Senior Scientist / Principal Investigator will provide technical leadership for various Government programs within the Technical Intelligence Operating Unit. The Technical Intelligence portfolio covers all aspects of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and includes customers such as NASIC, AFRL, AFIT, DARPA and others. The Senior Scientist will participate in program execution as both a contributor and as a lead (Principal Investigator), working with an established team of engineers, scientists and software developers . Duties shall include data processing, analysis, and algorithm development, mission planning, and execution of field tests. A successful candidate will have expertise in image/signal processing, digital engineering, ISR sensors, and sensor data exploitation.

Job Duties:

Solve challenging problems for the DoD and ICEmploy sound system engineering principles from requirements through testingWork directly with customers to come up with ideas that address their top mission objectivesWork as part of a team with other engineers to develop new capabilitiesAnalyze data in the application of remote sensing technology to solve intelligence issuesCoordinate with analysts from other intelligence disciplines

Required Qualifications:

PhD degree in engineering, science or mathematics with at least 10 years engineering experienceDemonstrated expertise with image/signal processing, data exploitation, digital engineeringEstablished contacts with DoD and IC mission partnersStrong technical writing and briefing skills
