Job Description
As a Scientist, you will lead and coordinate technical projects within the North America portfolio, focusing on R&D, regulatory, marketing, and manufacturing requirements. This role involves managing multiple projects, ensuring compliance, and driving consumer-centric product development, with a significant impact on product quality and market success.
Responsibilities
+ Independently and collaboratively plan, lead, and coordinate technical projects aligned with R&D, regulatory, marketing, and manufacturing requirements.
+ Manage pilot plant and factory trials, ensuring compliance with good manufacturing practices and HACCP.
+ Oversee development activities such as product shelf-life testing and consumer test preparation.
+ Utilize strong organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure project milestones are met.
+ Analyze data and prepare presentations to communicate findings and progress.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally to leverage consumer insights for product development.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the food industry.
+ Strong technical foundation with expertise in biscuit formulation or similar.
+ Technical knowledge in regulatory compliance and project management.
+ Proficiency in data analysis and presentation skills.
+ Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and manage complexity effectively.

+ High level of technical curiosity.
+ Strong communication and coordination with various stakeholders.
+ Flexibility in work hours when running trials.
+ No travel restrictions.
Work Environment
The work environment is a mix of office tasks and hands-on activities in pilot plants and factories. You will work both independently and with teams, focusing on quality and safety. The role includes 8 AM-5 PM hours with the need for flexibility during trials. Travel up to 30% to locations in Canada, US, and the person. The company values openness to teaching and learning from each other, and provides access to many tools and experienced individuals to leverage in problem-solving
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
