We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous Senior Scientist with experience in autoimmunity, allergy, B cell biology, and disease models driven by pathogenic antibodies to join our Immunology & Inflammation team. You will support a broad pipeline in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases by validating targets, assessing the efficacy of therapeutic candidate molecules, and interrogate mechanisms of pathology that inform therapeutic strategies.
As a Senior Scientist, a typical day might include the following:
Working in-vivo with mice including general surgical techniques and the collection of blood and tissue samples
Developing and optimizing relevant disease mouse models and the subsequent analysis of associated disease-related pathologies by flow cytometry, histology, and ELISAs
Performs ELISAs and or MSDs to measure cytokine levels and determine antigen binding for various research programs.
Developing and executing cell-based assays to screen candidate antibodies for various research programs.
Contributing to lab and equipment maintenance and order supplies/reagents to help build a safe, effective and efficient working environment.
Contributing to project advancement by developing new methods and technologies.
Troubleshooting methodological and technical issues, interpreting experimental data and literature, and communicating results to diverse groups of individuals.
Collaborates and communicates effectively with team members to coordinate complex in vivo experiments, and with other departments to facilitate cross-functional efforts.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least a Ph.D. and 0-5 years or a BS/MS and 8-10+ years of relevant experience in Immunology, Cellular/Molecular Biology, or a related field. We need someone with a strong knowledge and understanding of immunology. Experience working in the field of type 2 inflammation and allergic diseases is strongly preferred. Must have experience working in-vivo including surgeries, injections, tissue harvesting, etc. Experience with flow cytometry, ELISA, and cell-based assays is required. Knowledge of data analysis programs such as GraphPad PRISM, FlowJo analysis, HALO, DIVA, and Softmax Pro is preferred. Excellent publication record is desirable.
