To support our Drug Safety & Metabolism Team in Schwabenheim (near Mainz), we are looking for you as of now, full time and initially for a fixed term of 2 years, as a

Senior Scientist (m/f/d), Preclinical Development in Animal Health

Your Responsibilities and Tasks:

Scientifically support Research and Development with regard to new and existing productsCompile and evaluate pharmacological and toxicological profiles of chemical substances by literature search and testingPlan, conduct and evaluate inhouse studies according to GLP guidelines, e.g., toxicity, pharmacokinetics, metabolism, and residue depletion, as well as monitor equivalent outsourced studiesCompile expert reports, other scientific texts, and presentations in English for authoritiesMaintain and extend contact to contract research organizations, external experts and universitiesAct as preclinical representative in international multidisciplinary project teams

Your Qualifications

Veterinary Medicine degree, including PhD or comparableExperience in Research and Development, ideally in the international veterinary pharmaceutical industryExperience in managing animal studies, ideally according to GLPProfound knowledge in pharmacology, metabolism and toxicologyExperience in pharmacokinetic and metabolic evaluation of active substancesPrecise, analytical and creative work approach to problem solvingFluent written and spoken German and English language proficiency
