Job Summary: Eurofins Medical Device Chemistry and Container Testing team is seeking a Senior Scientist to research, develop and build methods for materials such as polymers, metals, biomaterials, ceramics, and pharmaceuticals which will be validated by ICH standards and comply with ISO, ASTM and USP regulations.  Candidates will ideally possess multiple instrument and method experiences, ideally including chromatography, Empower and/or ICP.  The role may require use of GC, HPLC, DSC, FTIR, IC, ICP, and other wet chemistry techniques + Preparing samples for analysis and running instrumentation with minimum supervision + Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department + Run the instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, various chromatographic systems, UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, GC, ICP, FTIR, IC, DSC, and dissolution apparatus + Prepare standards and samples for analysis + Writing technical documents for experiments + Execute method validation and transfer protocols + Document work as required for GMP compliance + Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment   Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related degree concentration + 3 years of experience using chromatography or ICP in a cGMP environment Additional Preferences: + Experience using Empower software + Experience with ISO 10993 and ASTM methods + Experience performing compendial testing + Experience with method development and validation + Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques + Ability to work in the U.S. for any employer, indefinitely, without restriction or sponsorship Position is full-time position, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4pm.
