Job DescriptionJob Summary: Eurofins Medical Device Chemistry and Container Testing team is seeking a Senior Scientist to research, develop and build methods for materials such as polymers, metals, biomaterials, ceramics, and pharmaceuticals which will be validated by ICH standards and comply with ISO, ASTM and USP regulations. Candidates will ideally possess multiple instrument and method experiences, ideally including chromatography, Empower and/or ICP. The role may require use of GC, HPLC, DSC, FTIR, IC, ICP, and other wet chemistry techniques
QualificationsPreparing samples for analysis and running instrumentation with minimum supervisionSet up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the departmentRun the instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, various chromatographic systems, UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, GC, ICP, FTIR, IC, DSC, and dissolution apparatusPrepare standards and samples for analysisWriting technical documents for experimentsExecute method validation and transfer protocolsDocument work as required for GMP compliancePerform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related degree concentration3 years of experience using chromatography or ICP in a cGMP environmentAdditional Preferences:
