Senior Scrum Master

Kearney and Company is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join the team in Alexandria, VA. The Scrum Master role will focus on supporting Product Owners, the Development team, and other key stakeholders in an Agile Scrum format. Additional duties include: Helping the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value increments Identifying techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items Facilitating stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed Leading, training, and coaching the program in its Scrum adoption Planning and advising Scrum implementations within the program Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work Removing barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams Qualifications Required Qualifications: BA or BS degree Minimum 6 years of experience leading a team in a complex agile environment Must have at least one active advanced-level scrum master certification such as Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (Scrum Alliance) or Professional Scrum Master II (Scrum.org) Must possess a Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of U.S. Federal Financial Management for the Department of Defense or U.S. Navy Knowledge of the operating climate in the U.S. Navy Overview Exclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
