Arcserve is seeking a Senior Scrum Master who will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile practices within the team, ensuring effective communication, and driving continuous improvement in workflows. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations while fostering a collaborative team environment.
What You’ll Do:
Drive effective and efficient implementation of the Scrum framework across the organization.Develop collaborative and self-managing teams through a compelling vision, active facilitation, and powerful coaching.Facilitate various scrum events (e.g., daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint review meetings, sprint retrospective meetings).Identify and manage impediments that prevent a team from producing valuable output.Protect the team from distractions and hold the team accountable for work.Act as a change agent helping the business adapt to agile principles.Adapt process guidelines to maximize productivity.Establish the team boards.Ensure efficient communication between the Scrum Team, Product Owner/Manager, and other stakeholders.What You Have:
10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.Scrum master certification (SAFe or CSM)Deep knowledge of product life cycle, including software development methodologies design and implementation.Expert knowledge of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban, and other Agile development techniques.Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skillsDeep knowledge of the principles and methods to identify, analyze, specify, design, and manage functional and infrastructure requirements.Leading skills in release and deployment management, and agile estimation and planning.Expert ability to make sound, well-informed, and objective decisions; perceives the impact and implications of decisions.Proven ability to train, coach and mentor the team.Proven ability to continuously improve by learning new tools and techniques and finding new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives.Proven ability to connect and influence others to achieve team goals.Proven ability to vary styles of interaction to match the needs of a variety of business and technical audiences.Expert ability to resolve conflict by effectively dealing with disagreements and handling emotionally charged individuals.Expert ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives.
