What You’ll Be Doing
As a member to the Security Team, you will be supporting the Commercial Banking Mid-Market segment in non-negotiable and negotiable security related matters to ensure the Bank is protected against loan default. As an Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for the receiving, analyzing and lodging non-negotiable and negotiable security in various systems and applications utilized within Credit Processing Services. You will interact directly with our counterparts in Market (Commercial Bank Managers, Senior Managers, Directors) and within broader CPS team (Senior Credit Risk Analysts and Credit Maintenance Analysts) to ensure the integrity of the security as approved by Corporate and Commercial Credit Adjudication.

How You’ll Succeed
Processing & Attention to detail - Ensure that transactions are completed accurately and on a timely basis and in accordance to CIBC's policies and procedures while dealing with high volumes and tight timelines. Providing Exceptional Client Service - Provide customer service to internal and external business partners via email and phone calls.Teamwork - Collaborate as a team to ensure all loan requests are fulfilled and provide backup support for your colleagues to succeed as a team.Experience - Experience with corporate and commercial loan processes and products, particularly Banker’s Acceptance (booking/settling/balancing) and loan advancing, rollover and conversion. You have working knowledge with MS Office applications (advanced Excel). Experience with Advanced Commercial Banking System (ACBS) along with Canadian Depository for Securities (CDS) will be an strong asset.Who You Are
