Senior Security Consultant, EMEA FR SDT
Description As a Senior Security Architect of Security, Risk & Compliance Practice within AWS Professional Services, you will have the opportunity to pioneer security solutions for our customers, helping them automate their security operations and achieve unprecedented capability and agility. You will manage teams of security experts and work with customers, partners and fellow Amazonians to design and deploy cutting-edge security infrastructure, automate security operations for our customers. You will drive internal offering development projects and become a deep technical resource that earns the trust of customer executive stakeholders. You will build high-quality technical content such as automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers to help our consultants, partners, and customers build on the work we deliver. You will innovate on behalf of customers; translate your thoughts into action yielding measurable results Additionally, you will collaborate with AWS service teams on new features and explore new challenges, using your technical knowledge and creativity to drive innovation. This role is a customer-facing role requiring the ability to travel for projects within the FR EMEA South Area. The preferred location for this role is Lyon. Basic Qualifications • Proven experience in IT security, compliance and risk management, privacy & controls, and security reference architectures for all-in and/or hybrid deployments • Hands-on technical expertise in building security capabilities in code and deploying infrastructure in code such as WAF, Firewall, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM • Hands-on technical expertise in security architecture, technology automation, implementation, integration, and/or deployment • Proven track record of managing and leading large-scale IT projects including definition and execution of successful project controls and experience running big scale security engagements with customers • Excellent French and English communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Scripting skills, i.e., PowerShell, Python, Node.js, Javascript, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc. as well with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments at scale • Technical expertise (design and/or implementation) in Cloud Computing technologies • Experience in leading customer facing engagements such as risk assessment and management audits • Experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving the program's evolution to meet new requirements • Understanding implications of meeting industry standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST/DoD frameworks.
