Senior Security Engineer
We will count on you to:
Utilize expert knowledge of micro-segmentation techniques, particularly Illumio, to enhance our security framework.
Develop and implement firewall policies for various network protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP) and ensure robust security measures are in place.
Research, select, and deploy information security solutions that align with executive strategies while maintaining transparency for end users.
Provide tier 3 engineering support for security solutions, leading troubleshooting efforts and collaborating with vendors to resolve complex issues.
Document processes and develop automated solutions to reduce risk and improve team performance.
What you need to have:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical security roles, with 10+ years preferred, in a large corporate enterprise environment (Financial Services preferred).
Proven experience with security technologies such as cloud-based proxies, zero-trust architecture, micro-segmentation, and VPNs.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP) and a strong foundation in security engineering and architecture disciplines.
Scripting experience in modern languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for automation tasks.
What makes you stand out:
A college/university degree or equivalent experience in information security and networking.
Knowledge of common security controls on Windows and Unix-based operating systems, along with server administration and identity management experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to senior leadership.
A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse global IT environment.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $116,600 to $233,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
