We are seeking a Senior Security Manager (SSL) to lead and oversee security operations for a key client in the Sunnyvale, CA. This pivotal role ensures contract compliance, drives operational performance, and upholds financial objectives. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader capable of mentoring subordinate managers, fostering a culture of service excellence, and building strong client relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $122,000 annually

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Vision and Business Operation Goals

Develop and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational goals.Provide regular updates to senior leadership using tools like Salesforce and metrics reports.Collaborate with functional departments to meet business objectives.Participate in company and client initiatives, committees, and task forces.

Performance Management

Recruit, hire, and retain top operations professionals.Set and monitor performance goals for security teams.Ensure timely completion of performance reviews, development plans, and improvement processes for employees.

Training & Development

Identify and address performance gaps within teams.Ensure completion of all required training and encourage professional development.Conduct regular meetings to review goals, share best practices, and celebrate achievements.

Customer Service

Deliver 100% customer satisfaction through frequent client engagement.Resolve customer service-related issues promptly and effectively.Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to guide customer strategies.

Other Responsibilities

Manage daily staffing and administrative functions for assigned locations.Conduct quality assurance inspections and monitor Security Officer performance.Serve as a liaison between Securitas and client representatives.Oversee the training and operations of Field Supervisors and Security Officers.Ensure compliance with company policies, post orders, and contract requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field (required)5–10 years of experience in Security Operations (highly preferred)4–6 years of law enforcement and/or military experience (preferred)Experience in security operations or scheduling (a plus)Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordStrong customer service orientation and effective problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, HRIS platforms, and SmartSheetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to hire, develop, motivate, and retain staffWillingness and availability to respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours
