As a Senior Security Analyst, this role will be responsible for managing security risk programs and supporting risk and compliance initiatives. This role requires a motivated self-starter who has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of risk and compliance management principles, excellent communication, and knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and frameworks. This position is based in Atlanta, GA. This resource should be local and will sit in our midtown location.
To adhere to our Return To Office (RTO) weekly onsite requirements, Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) each and every week.
What you’ll do
Perform security risk assessments (internal and external)
Assess and validate security controls and suggest adequate compensating controls to identified vulnerabilities and/or control gaps
Manage tracking and improving the external security posture by identifying, analyzing, and providing remediation guidance on vulnerability data across Equifax infrastructure
Perform data analysis and validation, including metrics, to support Security Risk activities
Engage and liaise with stakeholders globally to meet strategic goals
Provide oversight and guidance to junior staff
What experience you need
Minimum of 5 years in experience as a security professional with emphasis in executing risk assessments and managing external security posture
Providing recommendations to the global teams on risks related to Equifax infrastructure
Experience with reporting platform tools (ServiceNow experience preferred), including workflow creation, dashboard creation, and optimization.
Is highly attentive and able to pivot his/ her approaches accordingly to support the delivery of business value
Ability to communicate to advanced technical teams as well as brief management on technical risks and issues

Previous experience working in Security Risk and vulnerability management at a large company is strongly preferred
