We are seeking a Senior Sensor Strategist for an Army Laboratory to interface with multiple organizations that represent the community of interest for Army Sensors focused on Counter Target Acquisition (CTA) and Air and Missile Defense (AMD) missions.  You will serve as a strategic planner and senior acquisition advisor responsible for developing Sensor Science & Technology (S&T) strategy and transition planning for sensor technologies transitioning into Rapid Prototyping, Middle-Tier, or a Major Capability Acquisition pathway.  You will need previous experience in a US Army Sensor Project or Product Office and demonstrate knowledge of the science behind sensor technologies and the US Army Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for various sensors employed on the battlefield.  You will conduct sensor research and present findings as part of your duties in developing S&T strategy. This requires strong written and oral communication skills which will entail drafting information papers, articles, correspondence, and decision briefs.  Must have experience briefing General Officers and Senior Executives on program capabilities.

The Senior Sensor Strategist must also be proficient at:  

Developing sensor S&T documentation Developing sensor S&T transition plansDeveloping and maintaining sensor S&T schedules as well as organizing and leading meetings with stakeholdersFacilitating preparation and delivery of presentations to Senior Leaders Documenting, analyzing, and assessing sensor S&T risks for radar technologies being developed in the laboratory.
