We are looking to fill a Senior Service Desk Technician position in Englewood, CO. As a **Senior Service Desk Technician** , you will take on IT support for both field and office personnel. You will manage IT support, troubleshoot technology issues, and lead initiatives to optimize infrastructure and software systems. Your role will be crucial in maintaining operational efficiency across Mears Group by ensuring that technology works seamlessly for our staff and leadership. **Essential Duties** + Take the lead on troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software challenges for all users. Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware used across the company. + Assist in maintaining and supporting local area network (LAN) by installing and maintaining network wiring, switches, hubs, routers, and wireless access points. + Manage the timely configuration, deployment, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, surface tablets, and other IT equipment for users. + Efficiently document and resolve incident tickets while adhering to the company’s standards and processes. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s technology processes and systems, including system backup and disaster recovery. + Provide technical support for software and hardware issues across the organization, including support for local staff and field personnel. + Maintain data backup systems and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity. + Assist with weekly inventory management of IT and related equipment. + Provide clear communication of basic computer procedures and IT processes to users at all levels. + Perform other administrative tasks as required to support IT operations and ensure smooth functioning of technology services. **Benefits & compensation:** Despite our size, Mears remains a family company. Our suite of benefits reflects our commitment to our employees. + Salary range: $67,500 to $82,500 + Paid on-the-job technical and professional growth opportunities + Established career path for future advancement + 401k and Roth 401(k) retirement savings plans + Health, prescription, dental, & vision plans + Life & disability insurance plans + Financial wellness program + Employee assistance program + Employee discount programs **Key Qualifications** + 2-3 years in an IT Service Desk role, with a proven ability to manage escalated technical issues and oversee support operations. + Expertise in desktop software and hardware troubleshooting, mobile device support, and network configuration. + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Office applications, PowerShell scripting, and mobile device management. + Familiarity with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) processes is a plus. + Strong ability to work autonomously while managing multiple projects and tasks efficiently. + Ability to communicate complex technical procedures clearly to staff at all levels. + High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical certifications preferred. + Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support with a focus on troubleshooting and infrastructure support. + Solid understanding of IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and mobile devices. + Experience with Apple iOS and Android devices is a plus. + Valid driver’s license and ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. + Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
