The role of Senior Service Engineer is a unique one. Our Engineers dedicate their time in servicing our customers 24/7, including assembly, maintenance, inspections, trouble shooting and support with new projects. Without Field Service we would not be the business we are today. We have created a new role to be part of our French Field Service team and would like someone who is based near Paris, due to the geographical locations of our customers. Excitingly there could also be travel as far as North Africa and Israel with this super role. You will work with our engineering team, reporting into our Aftermarket Service Manager in Amsterdam. Colleagues are based in the Netherlands and across EMENA, caring for our customers across all of our machinery. On a given day, you may: Provide site support with maintenance, inspections, trouble shooting and support with new projects. Manage installations, providing service and visit reports, technical support for all our machinery within your responsibilities, including advising our customers on maintenance, spare-parts and upgrades; identify any trends and sharing this with your manager. Train customers on maintenance, operation, safety and the cleaning of the machinery. Work with our aftermarket team to implement aftermarket activities such as services, promotion, and CRM. Identify sales opportunities passing this information onto our Sales Manager swiftly. Requirements for the role 5 years' experience in machine servicing within food processing plants (we will consider candidates with less than this) Mechanical, electrical or controls engineering expertise PLC knowledge of Beckhoff, Siemens, Allen Bradley BTS maintenance industrielle Knowledge of Salesforce and Office Someone who enjoys sharing best practice with a team. Someone who cares that the customer gets a great service. Excellent French and English language skills (Fluent French a must) Travel & Location We need flexibility to travel and for you to work flexible hours – this is super important so we can care for our customers.
