Technical Service Consultant

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries Business Division based in MacKay, Queensland, Australia.The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-OnsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tContributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.•\tEnsuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.•\tTaking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customer and other ABB teams.•\tReviewing and modifying schematics, developing PLC, SCADA and Drive software.•\tCoaching technicians and engineers and supervising complex site activities.

Qualifications for the role

\tElectrical Engineering Degree or Diploma, or Trade qualification in an Electrical discipline (Electrician, Electrical Fitter, Millwright).\tOver 8 years of experience ideally in the Dragline Service/Mining segment.\tCurrent Australia Electrical License.\tCurrent Australia Issued Motor Vehicle Driver’s License.\tCommitment to Workplace OH&S and other legislation/regulations related to the mining industry.
