Senior Service Reliability Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Service Reliability Engineer who will think outside the box to propose, analyze, and implement new ways to deliver, operate, monitor, and maintain the platform while focusing on process efficiency, security, best practices, service reliability, scalability, and performance.

In this role you’ll / Your main responsibilities:

Play a key role in accelerating the organization’s ability to deliver changes reliably and consistently to Amadeus Hospitality customersDevelop standardized automation to control, build artifact and deploy managed servicesLeverage, improve, design, and implement services that automate application provisioning and manage the underlying infrastructure as a serviceAct as a technical lead, anticipate technical risks and inter-dependencies, identify potential improvement of existing code / processes, and solve complex production investigationsForm a common continuous deployment pipeline for application development teamsIdentify root cause, troubleshoot, and resolve issues quickly and effectively, sometimes under pressure 

About the ideal candidate:

Strong understanding of the Linux Operating System and be familiar with problem investigation on this OSStrong understanding of the Kubernetes framework (Concept, Architecture (API Server, Controller, Scheduler, Kube-Proxy, kubelet, ...) and all the managed resources (e.g. Deployment vs Replicaset, Daemonset, statefulset, PODs, Operators, various type of services, ...))Good understanding of the Network ISO Model and comfortable investigating issues (e.g know how to capture and analyze network traffic with tcpdump tool)Be comfortable with the most common CI/CD tools used in the Cloud Industry (Jenkins, ArgoCD)Be comfortable with the major automation tools like Ansible and Terraform and with at least one programming language that can be used in the context of developing automation (e.g. Python, Golang)
