Senior service specialist vendor operations

Introduction to the job
As a senior service specialist, you will work closely with Procurement and our ASML Business Services (ABS) organization. Our first line purchasing and accounts payable processes are outsourced to our partner. Your focus will be to functionally lead and build the in-house team for purchasing. Your team will support the administration for contract administration and services for our external workers (our global external workforce). In this position, you will be given the opportunity to grow in your role as people manager and service manager.

The team will handle a variety of administrational activities for contract administration and for external worker services from onboarding to offboarding cases. As a senior service specialist, you will be the spokesperson for the services of your team. Your team will ensure an accurate solution and follow-up on cases to deliver the best service experiences.

Role and responsibilities

Vendor Operations is part of the ABS organization, a shared services organization offering transactional services for Finance, HR&O, Sourcing & Procurement, IT, CRE, and Sales. ABS is supported by a centralized Capability Center, Master Data and Reporting Operations. Vendor Operations offers services for the Purchase to Pay processes. The services range from Contractor Accounts, Contract Management, Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Providing Payments to our suppliers. 

As a senior service specialist for Vendor Operations, you will report to the regional manager for Europe and will work closely together with our service partner to support the transition of activities to your team. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other process experts, business process owners and project teams. You will functionally manage your internal team (3 employees) and you will have frequent service alignments with our service partner (6-8 members). Your team and responsibilities will develop in the future.

In this role, you will:

Support and guide team members in their daily operations and safeguard transition of activities to the teamKeep up with internal and external developments and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge and informationEnsure staffing of people at the right competencies and ensure training and development plans in placeEnsure frequent service alignments with our service partnerAct as a linking pin between our global helpdesk and our regional teams and drive customer satisfaction for external workers and ASML managersSupport improvements on regional and global level, overlooking the various interfaces in the end-2-end P2P processEnsure internal controls are embedded in the process and automated with the support of the internal control specialists

Education and experienceBachelor's degree in a relevant fieldAt least 5 years relevant working experience in shared servicesExperience and knowledge from a multinational organization and working on international projectsExperience with people management or service management is a preExperience with working in cross-regional teams
