Senior ServiceNow Developer

Join us as Senior ServiceNow Developer where you'll play a pivotal role in projects by handling designing flexible solutions, improving process wherever required, producing process documents and having an exclusive collaboration with clients, vendor and stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in,

End to end ServiceNow development activities, ServiceNow modules and third-party Integrations, Rest API, Integration Hubs.

Customization or development of enhancement requests for existing ITSM/ITOM tools and processes.

Working closely with (Business Analysts) BA's, Architects, Testing teams and process teams.

Identifying areas of process and tooling improvement and provide solutions to ensure tool is protected in process, security and performance aspects.

Designing end to end solutions, improving configurations and driving rollouts of new applications and modules.

Following continuous improvement best practices by identifying and diagnosing improvement opportunities and delivering solutions using Agile software development processes and identifying risk by incorporating different Authentication mechanism.

Some other highly valued skills may include,

CSM, CSA, ITSM, CTA ServiceNow Certifications.

Collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.

Staying up to date with the latest ServiceNow capabilities, trends, and best practices.

Mentoring junior developers or co team members and help them out for any clarifications.

This role is based in our Pune office.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
