Location: This position is hybrid, based in Laurel, MD 20707, working onsite 3 days per week. Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to perform the design, development, and implementation of new ServiceNow applications and modules, as well as configuring and customizing existing ones. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain workflows, forms, and user interfaces to improve user experience and efficiency. Integrate ServiceNow with other business systems using APIs and web services. Create and maintain scripts to automate tasks and processes within ServiceNow. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into ServiceNow data. Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues and incidents reported by users. Provide technical support and guidance to ServiceNow users. Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other IT team members to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery. Stay up-to-date on the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices. Participate in ServiceNow training and certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Adhere to ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of ServiceNow applications. Contribute to developing and maintaining ServiceNow documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials. Participate in ServiceNow testing and quality assurance activities. Assist in the deployment and migration of ServiceNow applications. Monitor the performance and health of ServiceNow instances. Implement security measures to protect ServiceNow data and applications. Contribute to the continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes and workflows. Research and evaluate new ServiceNow technologies and tools. Provide recommendations for optimizing ServiceNow performance and scalability. Participate in ServiceNow community forums and events. Share knowledge and expertise with other ServiceNow developers. Mentor junior ServiceNow developers and guide best practices. Contribute to the creation of ServiceNow knowledge base articles and FAQs. Assist in the development of ServiceNow training programs for end-users. Support the implementation of ServiceNow governance and compliance policies. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in IT service management. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field. 5+ years of proven experience as a ServiceNow developer with a strong understanding of the platform's architecture and capabilities. Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects in diverse team environments with a focus on ServiceNow development tools and techniques, including scripting in JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS. Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices. Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM and CSM. Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs, web services, and middleware technologies. Ability to design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes. Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., Azure) Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools and techniques. Preferred/Nice to Have Skills: Experience in water and wastewater industry understanding of oracle utility applications. Experience managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple stakeholders or businesses. Expert knowledge and experience in SQL queries and database design. Experience in test driven development. Experience with a variety of technologies such as multi-tiered applications, databases, LDAP and directory services, application servers, network infrastructure, and understanding security and dataflow within these components. Expert skills in developing architecture diagrams and technical designs. Experience ensuring that business engineering standards are applied by all parties involved in projects and deliveries. Clearance: The ability to pass a background check is needed.
