What Will You Be Doing?
This position responsible for all aspects of the development and maintenance of ServiceNow ITSM system. Working with the ServiceNow team and Government sponsors to develop and implement new services and integrated solutions in the customer owned ServiceNow instance. Day-to-day system upgrades, data validation, workflow improvements, and efficiency improvements will be a key success for this position.
Responsibilities:
Technical Lead for the ITSM ServiceNow Administrators in their daily activities, providing guidance on technical solutions, processes and procedures Leverage the ITSM ServiceNow tool set to automate facets of the environment, including tier zero support/user self-service, improving workflows, etc. in coordination with DevOps Engineers Work closely with the Enterprise Service Desk and the DevOps team to reduce or minimize ticket occurrences, through self-created automations and application enhancements Administrate full ITSM stack in an on-premise deployment, from end to end (create users, groups, change permissions, create queues, etc.); Be the main POC for USACE ITSM providing customer stability Enable Configuration Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, etc. through the appropriate modules, and development of custom code as necessary Support the development and maintenance of interfaces to the Configuration Management Database, and related reconciliation jobs, in partnership with the Contractor CMDB developers and administrators In coordination with ITSM Architect, support implementation of the new ITSM stack Document ITSM architecture, including network port connectivity, and design choices of the associated applications (Low Level Design, High Level Design) Integrate all systems into the enterprise Configuration Management Database Provide secure, reliable, and high performing configurations of the ITSM environments Other duties as assigned
