Site Name: Singapore - Tuas Posted Date: Feb 3 2025 The Senior Shift Supervisor & Shift Supervisor will be tasked to lead a team of biotechnologists to execute process operation steps to ensure the timely completion and delivery of batches. The Senior Shift Supervisor & Shift Supervisor is a first line leader serving the following 2 key functions: Management/ supervisory function on the shopfloor, leading the team, provide guidance and take decision with respect to process issues. First line technicial expert on the shopfloor, troubleshoot, investigate issues and ensure the development of technical competency of biotechnologists. The Senior Shift Supervisor & Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Operation Manager. Responsibilities 1. Management Ensure the morale, discipline and well being of the team are well managed and taken care of. Ensure timely intervention and escalation of any potential conflicts and misunderstanding between team members. Monitor, plan and coordinate resources to ensure effective utilization of operational staff. Conduct performance review and development discussion sessions to provide timely performance feedback to N-1 as well as supporting individuals in team to achieve career aspiration. 2. Production Ensure team performance in delivering production batches Ensure timely closure of process orders and batch records. Be the first line technicial expert to lead investigation and trouble-shooting of process issues and ensure timely escalation of issues. Conduct Tier 1 meeting and ensure in place in use of Tier 1 board, including elements of Tier 1 KPI adherence. CAPMAN, continuous improvement, issues reporting and escalation, etc. Act as a backup to run the process when there is manpower shortage. 3. Quality Timely escalation of Quality Risk so they can be assessed. Timely creation of unplanned events in SAP. Ensure the team's compliance to all relevant LSOP/Batch record requirements. Perform timely review of documentation including batch records and make necessary correction. Participate in cGMP self-inspections to ensure compliance with internal LSOPs and regulatory requirements. Responsible to ensure high house-keeping standards and discipline on the shopfloor. Support and facilitate self-inspections and co-ordinate for plant pre-audit preparation to ensure audit readiness. 4. Training and Development Ensure that all biotechnologists are trained in accordance to the training matrix. To provide support and guidance to new joiner, ensuring their smooth transition to the new environment. Develop oneself as process Subject Matter Expert (SME). Guide junior employees to ensure knowledge transfer for business continuity. Assist in conducting on-the-job training of the team. 5. Safety Ensure safe and secure operations in the facility. Identify and resolve potential safety issuees or risks together with the team. Support and faciliate safety audits and follow up on the recommendations. Responsible as the primary work permit approver for respective area.
