Job Description Overview:
A leading player in the dry bulk industry is seeking a proactive, results-driven Shipbroker to manage chartering activities for bulkcarriers, including voyage and time charters, period charters, and contracts of affreightment. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in securing charters and building strong client relationships.
They have partnered with a strong and dynamic tanker broking house to help solidify not just there presence in Bulk, but there name across the other sectors of broking too.
Key Responsibilities:
Chartering & Negotiation: Lead negotiations for voyage and time charters. Client & Market Engagement: Build relationships with owners, charterers, and expand business. On-Site Visits: Meet with clients and partners regularly to maintain and strengthen relationships. Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5 years in shipbroking for dry bulk, with an established client base. Education: Degree in Logistics, Shipping, or a related field. Skills: Proficiency in maritime software (AXSmarine preferred); English fluency; must be eligible to work in the Netherlands. Personal Attributes: Team player, customer-focused, proactive, and organised, with a willingness to travel. Why Apply?
