We are partnered with a renowned contractor involved in a variety of sectors including residential, healthcare, fit out, restoration, commercial, education, conservations, and leisure, looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager for Residential projects in Dublin. As a Senior Site Manager you will monitor the day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within the budget with extensive experience in site management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Manage all on-site construction activities to ensure they are executed according to plans, specifications, and schedules.
Generate detailed work plans, schedules & milestones to ensure project objectives are met.
Manage a team of installers, subcontractors, and site supervisors, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure that all team members are clear on their roles.
Carry out regular safety inspections and audits, ensuring all site activities comply with health and safety regulations, company policies and BCAR coordination.
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the discussion of project progress, addressing issues, and plan upcoming tasks.
Review and approve completed work maintaining lofty standards of workmanship and materials on site.
Address any quality issues or defects effectively as soon as possible.
Collaborate with project teams to communicate status, changes & issues to relevant parties.
Keep updated project documentation, progress reports and safety records ready for review or submission to senior management.
Degree in Construction Management/ Engineering or related field.
Proven years of experience as Senior Site Manager within construction with focus on residential projects.
Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results within budget and schedule.
Strong verbal & written communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
