NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud is a platform of APIs, SDKs, and services that enable developers to easily integrate Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD) and RTX rendering technologies into existing software tools and simulation workflows for building AI systems. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Omniverse Infrastructure organization which develops hardware and software systems to power Omniverse Cloud. NVIDIA Omniverse™ Cloud is a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) that provides developers and enterprises a full-stack cloud environment to craft, develop, deploy, and run industrial Omniverse applications.
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) focuses on production health to prevent outages and it does so by defining and developing deep software engineering solutions and practices, which simplify the operating environment and make not only Omniverse Cloud reliable, but also make feature development faster and safer. As a Senior Omniverse Cloud SRE, you will architect solutions to run our ever-growing number of clusters around the world to ensure Omniverse Cloud’s mission of enabling companies to unify digitalization across their core product and business processes. You will serve as front-line support, prioritizing issues to the platform, the applications, or the underlying infrastructure. You will work in a multi-functional capacity, and feel equally comfortable modifying or debugging applications authored, and utilizing system administration tools to triage issues.
What you’ll be doing:
Own, innovate, and build programs, new software, and analytics that drive improvements to the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Omniverse products and services
Handle upgrades, and automated rollbacks across all clusters
Maintain Service Level Agreement (SLAs) of measurable benchmarks, working hand in hand with developers of new services on how to define SLIs, and design a stable, secure service
Help guide the Change Advisory Board, and RCCA processes
Work with product area leads from technologies across NVIDIA to guide product engineering to build fast, reliable, and durable production systems
Apply standard methodologies and first principled thinking to Omniverse and other strategic Cloud offerings from NVIDIA.
What we need to see:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
8+ years of demonstrated competency in system design, complexity analysis, software design in Unix/Linux systems, performance, and application issues
8+ years' of validated experience authoring, and debugging software written in C++ and Python
Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes based cloud environments
Proven experience in incident management and large scale incident coordination.
Experience working with partners across multiple teams
Background with HPC or Model Training Operations or related experience.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Multiple CSP expertise.
Experience with Monitoring stacks, Open Telemetry and sophisticated Observability stacks
Background with PaaS, and SaaS offerings
Experience in Highly available and large scale environment support and reliability.
Experience in Machine Learning and Model Training

The base salary range is 180,000 USD - 339,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
