Senior Site Reliability Engineer with ELK
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer with ELK with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team.
Roles/Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon Elasticsearch Service, Elasticsearch Administration, ELK Stack, Logstash, ELK, Kibana, and Elasticsearch. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of these technologies to design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient systems.
Required Qualifications:
Design and implement scalable and efficient systems using Elastic Load Balancing and Amazon Elasticsearch Service. Oversee the administration and maintenance of Elasticsearch clusters to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Provide expertise in the ELK Stack, including Logstash, Elasticsearch, and Kibana, to support data analysis and visualization.Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline Elasticsearch operations and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Elasticsearch clusters to handle large volumes of data.
Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster their growth and development.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve system architecture.
Document system designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
Job Location: Primary Location: Irving, TX
Secondary Location: Tampa FL, Basking Bridge NJ, Alpharetta GA Client office from Day 1
The annual salary for this position is between $55,578 – 125,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
