Job Title: Senior Software Architect

Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Senior Software Architect to join our Air Force and Army Programs Group in Fort Washington, MD. The ideal candidate will interface with operational units, senior decision makers, developers, acquisition personnel, and the group technical director to compile, coordinate, and submit requirements that guide the development of ENSU and hosted Mission Applications. This role involves evaluating technical solution proposals, providing integration recommendations, and supporting efforts to modernize and improve the Development Pipeline for the platform and Mission Applications. The candidate will provide written documentation and briefings after technical forums to describe new potential dataflows and identify policy or capability-based impediments to progress. Additionally, maintaining electronic records in an appropriate Government-approved shared location is required.

ResponsibilitiesEngage and participate with the enterprise architecture team to analyze and model the platform and platform processes, with a focus on integration and dataflow.Establish and formalize enterprise architecture team models to align with partner architecture models.Model structural, conceptual, and behavioral business processes and the systems that support them.Essential SkillsExperience working in the DoD or IC frameworks, APIs, UML, OCO Platforms, and C2S or other Government-owned cloud environments.Proficiency in system analysis and design using Unified Modeling Language (UML) documentation within the last 3 years.Currency on leading technologies affecting OCO platforms such as PaaS, hardware, software, software development techniques, and internet protocols.Understanding of APIs and associated SDKs to evaluate interoperability with external enabling components.Knowledge of the policies governing unclassified and classified cloud environments.Experience leading or developing under an agile software methodology such as SAFe or SCRUM.TS/SCI clearance required (will be processed for CI or Full Scope Polygraph).Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least one year of experience working in the DoD or IC frameworks, APIs, UML, OCO Platforms, and C2S or other Government-owned cloud environments.Familiarity with dataflows within the DoD or IC and with existing frameworks and concepts for moving data to support existing analytic and storage capabilities.Work Environment

This position is 100% on-site in Fort Washington, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $180000.00 - $210000.00/yr.

If candidates do not currently posess a Polygraph clearance, they will be processed for one. Good for those who have been wanting a Polygraph clearance.
