Senior Software Configuration Management Lead Immediate Fill | Secret Clearance Required Location: Washington Navy Yard commuting distance required About the Role: ISPA Technology is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Software Configuration Management (SCM) Lead to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and adherence to configuration management processes for complex software systems. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and traceability of software throughout its lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Autonomy Baseline Management: Oversee and ensure that all Autonomy Baseline changes comply with established processes, including the RAIL Configuration Management Implementation Plan and PMS 406 guidance. This includes responsibilities in configuration identification, Configuration Status Accounting (CSA), configuration change control, configuration audit and verification, and build and release management. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to facilitate effective information exchange and collaboration on CM matters. Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) Management: Oversee and ensure the effective implementation and adherence to the ECP process. Conduct thorough administrative and technical reviews of proposed changes for completeness, accuracy, and inclusion of applicable attachments. Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to review proposed changes, waivers, deviations, and documentation. Consolidate engineering inputs and recommendations for presentation to CCB stakeholders. Record and route ECPs to all relevant CCB members. Ensure timely review and feedback on ECP inputs. Consolidate comments and recommendations, investigate issues, and prepare ECP packages for CCB distribution. Monitor and track CCB action items to completion. Software Configuration Item (SCI) Management: Ensure the proper maintenance and accountability of CSCIs throughout the development lifecycle, including adherence to established naming conventions. CM Procedures Development and Maintenance: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive CM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guide and support SCM activities. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in Software Configuration Management. Proven experience with Configuration Management processes (e.g., identification, control, status accounting, audits, verification). Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Active Secret Security Clearance is required. Preferred: Experience with DO-178C or similar software safety standards. Experience with CM tools (e.g., Jira, Git, Jenkins). Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
