Business Applications department is seeking Senior Software Developer to perform the functions listed below. The department provides support, development, reporting and maintenance for multiple applications and tools used internally by BBN to support its business. These applications include Financial Reporting Tools, Requisitioning and Purchasing workflow, Billability reporting, Pursuits management, non-employee onboarding, project management manpower planning, various approval workflows as well as maintaining and supporting RTX BBN Technologies systems (BBN SAP, internally built BBN PRISM, BBN Vista Plus, Brio Intelligence), etc.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design and develop modifications and enhancements to a variety of reports and web-based applications including testing on a range of platforms and browsers.Research and debug problems using strong analytical skills and an understanding of the underlying database, language, and application.Communicate effectively with a wide audience of users, including the general employee population and specifically Human Resources, Government Compliance, Engineering and Finance.Understand and learn BBN business processes as it pertains to systems supported by the group.Learn, maintain and support active in-house developed applications.Participate in systems implementations and upgrades.Work closely with others in the Business Applications team.Work on multiple different assignments with an ability to adapt to changing priorities.Provide timely support for several applications on a rotating basis, assuring quality and accuracy of information. This includes support for time sensitive key reports delivered to management.Embrace an opportunity to expand responsibilities into other areas. Possibilities include learning new technologies, redesigning key reports, tools and processes, and building applications.Knowledge of Analytics tools and an interest in financial processes and procedures is a definite plusQualifications You Must Have
BS in Computer Science or relevant technical field, with 5-8 years of software development and support experience.Proficient software analysis and coding skills.Position requires US citizenship with ability and willingness to obtain a US Government Security ClearanceQualifications We Prefer - Familiar with all, Expert in some

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
