SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Department: Circle K Tech

Location: Suite 200-400 March Rd, Kanata ON, K2K 3H4

Type of employment:  Permanent, Full Time (40 hours) in office

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director, within our Circle K Tech Inc. team, the Senior Software Developer will develop and maintain cloud applications, working with IOT (internet of things) devices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

User management, device management, analytics, and reportingBuild on cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)Comfortable with testing and analyzing dataWork with REST APIs and ElasticLearn about secure coding styles and assess vulnerability threatsBecome familiar with fundamentals of Big DataLearn and contribute to our repository of foundation classes used in development of our core productsContribute to design, test and customer documentation

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Education

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science

Experience:

5 years’ experience working on small teamsExperience with PHP, CSS, JavaScript, Full Stack (frontend, backend and networking)Experience with GitHub, Confluence and Jira considered an assetExperience with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) considered an assetEnd-to-end software development lifecycle experience (requirements, design, implementation,
testing and docs

Knowledge and skills:
