The Creativity Apps team is looking for an SDET Manager that has experience with video and photo editing, iOS and macOS, to contribute to the production of innovative tools for creative professionals, video makers and visual storytellers. It requires a highly proactive individual with strong creative, technical and analytic skills and passion for new technologies related to computer vision/on-device machine learning. DescriptionDescriptionThe ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, people management, a desire to help shape the product roadmap and have a keen eye for the user experience. You will be responsible for planning and driving execution of testing for multiple simultaneous development initiatives. Your ability to work closely with development teams, to identify and understand key features and their underlying functionality, will be the key to your success. Your experience with video and or/photo editing will help you to produce a clear and concise picture of product quality for the project, from concept to product release. You will be working closely with other QA and engineering team members to help coordinate cross-functional test efforts. Your capacity for defining, hiring, and developing a world-class QA team is vital. Your ongoing curiosity and commitment to self-education in video and/or image technologies as well as new testing techniques is what will set you apart. Minimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsSignificant management experience with 7+ years as an SDET or Software QA/QE managerEstablished pattern of building strong teams – attracting, hiring, motivating, and retaining the best engineersStrong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology and processesProficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting strict deadlinesPersistent and inquisitive problem solver, committed to driving quality forwardSuperior organizational and communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal) including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $219,300 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
