About the OCI Media Services Team
As a Senior Software Developer on the OCI Media Services team, you will tackle challenging technical projects and help shape the development, delivery, and operation of cloud services that empower animation, film, and game studios to migrate their production pipelines to the cloud. Our group focuses on designing and operating new cloud services specifically for the digital media production industry, including virtual animation workstations, digital asset management, high-performance storage, rendering services, license management, and production pipeline management tools.

This is an opportunity to help build an innovative solution from the ground up and extend OCI’s capabilities to tap into emerging opportunities in the media and entertainment industry. You’ll collaborate with a talented team of software developers to create scalable, highly available cloud services in a world-class environment.

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems, and other core computer science concepts. Experience with object-oriented programming in one or more of: Java, C#, Golang, C++, or similar languages. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for the chosen solution stack. Familiarity with building customer-facing microservices and tiered architectures, including virtualization, containerization, and REST APIs. Nice-to-have Qualifications Experience developing highly available, high-traffic, distributed services, with knowledge of service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols. Familiarity with using public cloud services (Oracle, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) for complex software product development. Exposure to media production workflows and pipelines (digital asset management, 3D frameworks, scene graphs, rendering workflows) is a plus.
