Senior Software Development Engineer
How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Key Responsibilities Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for Senior Software Development Engineers in Test, TPF in Atlanta, Georgia. Key Responsibilities + Design, develop, implement, and maintain software to test the product/application. + Defineautomation strategy and automation cases. Design tools for unit, functional,and performance testing in a programmatic manner. + Participatein design and code inspections. + Proposeimprovements to existing processes and build automated tools, libraries, andutilities to improve the team’s speed, quality, and efficiency. + Workwith a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI to back-end distributedweb services. + Ownthe design and implementation of tests that will help in end-to-end quality ofmajor deliverables working closely with multiple engineers and teams toimplement them. + Integrateboth the tests and infrastructure automation into the CI/CD pipeline. + Add toagile development teams following 12 Factor application development principles. + Collaborateeffectively within team environment. 10-15% domestic travel required. + Telecommutingpermitted 2-3 days per week. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of experience in IT software development. In the alternative, will accept a Master's degree in Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related field, and 2 years of experience in IT software development. Must have work experience in: + Automated script design and implementation; + Test Driven Development; + Using Java/Javascript or Typescript; and + Using Cypress and Selenium.
