We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) to join our dynamic Sabre Hospitality development team. The position will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies. The expertise in frontend technologies and backend systems will be instrumental in validating the functionality, data integrity and user experience of our applications.
Must Have Skills:
In-depth knowledge of SQL and BigQuery for data validation and quality assurance. Knowledge in Python will be an added advantage.Understanding of BI concepts, data lake house, ETL processes, and tools like Looker, Qlik. Work closely with Looker to understand API usage and develop test scenarios.Experience working with APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI.Strong proficiency in frontend development with React.Quality Engineering Skills:
5 to 6 years SDET experience.Experience working with global teams and work independently and as part of a team.Design test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures based on business requirementsPerform functional and regression testing of application and interfaces, to ensure that developed products meet design specifications and adhere to product quality standardsSolid with test automation background - design, code and execute using (Eclipse / .Net / C#-Selenium/ Java/ Cucumber) automation tool Design, build and maintain reliable automation scripts for complex applications spanning desktop, web, backend, platform, API gateways. Continuously improve test case coverage by covering (E2E, Regression, Negative and Exploratory Test cases) for all features and application functionality.Create accurate and detailed defect reports when issues are identified. Work with internal and external customers to understand business processes, troubleshoot issues, analyze, and write detailed defects, and provide solutions.Demonstrate the ability to understand and document internal and external processes and workflows where needed. Hands on experience with Test Management and Defect Management tools like Rally, JIRA.Solid experience testing with desktop, web and API-based applicationsProven interpersonal, analytical, attention to detail, strategy, and creative problem-solving skills.Excellent written in documentations and verbal communication skills.Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and software testing methodology, particularly in an Agile environmentPrevious hospitality or travel industry experience preferred but not required.We will give careful consideration to your application and review your details against the position criteria.
