We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Podio Team. Podio is a collaborative work and project management platform designed to streamline workflows, improve communication, and boost team productivity. It provides extensive customization options, allowing users to create personalized workspaces, build no-code apps, and manage tasks, projects, and communication effortlessly in one place. A standout feature is its workflow automation, which lets users automate repetitive tasks and optimize business processes without requiring complex coding. With rules and triggers, actions can be executed automatically, saving time and increasing efficiency within Podio workspaces. In this role, you will:Create and execute frontend/backend automated test casesCreating robust, high–quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testingDevelop test strategies and implement test automation for new and existing featuresSuggests new methods and processes that enhance our quality, productivity, and speedImplement and maintain test infrastructureIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast feedback and streamlined deploymentsPlan, implement, and execute testing tasks across various product areas – database, integration, functional, and UI/UXDevelop and enhance deployment processes and scripts and build pipelinesWe seek a proactive problem-solver who will analyze the root causes of issues and create effective solutions to foster continuous improvement within our organizationHelp in maintain and improve the cloud infrastructure servicesYour background:Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium)Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (Java, Python, etc.)Experience with cloud infrastructure solutions and services (AWS or Azure)Experience in Test Automation, Test Tooling and InfrastructureGood programming skills for writing automation testsExperience with testing microservices and distributed systemsExperience in CI/CD processesExperience with Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins)Working knowledge of DockerBe a confident self-starter with a curious mindPossess high attention to detailDo not be afraid to challenge when necessaryBe a team playerExcellent communication skills in EnglishAdditionally, it would be beneficial if you have: Relational DB knowledgeExperience with scripting languages like BashExperience using Git and its command lineExperience with JIRAFamiliarity with tools like New Relic or SplunkExpertise in diagnosing network latency, and system resource contention and exhaustionIf this sounds like you and fits your experience and career goals, we’d be happy to chat.
