Position Overview

Autodesk Fusion 360 is design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing software all-in-one. It enables our customers to connect their entire product development process into one cloud-based software with integrated 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB. In this role, you would join our Fusion 360 Design team to deliver performant 3D CAD capabilities to our customers, enabling them to design and make many of the products we see and interact with daily

We are looking for a talented and motivated software engineer to join our team. The Fusion Performance Team provides all the performance support for the entire Fusion application. The position requires contributing as a primary developer in designing and implementing software related to performance and owning and maintaining the Fusion cloud service. In this role, you can bring a significant impact to the entire Fusion engineering team in terms of quality and efficiency. Anyone willing to face technical challenges can contact us directly

This is a hybrid position in Pune, and you will report to the Manager of Software Development

Responsibilities

Implementation

Develop high-quality, secure, stable code for use in products and graphics solutions for customersEnsure new code conforms to established coding standards and meets the design specificationsEnsure new code follows best security practicesMaintain, troubleshoot, and debug code as requiredTest newly developed features to ensure they are functioning properlyDocument new code and features developed, including changes to existing code

Agile Development

Understand, embrace, and promote agile methodologies, principles, and values within the teamParticipate in team retrospectives and feedback loops to improve on future iterationsParticipate in daily team scrum meetingsProvide the Product Owner with any support required to facilitate backlog groomingParticipate in sprint planning sessionsDemonstrate product increments in sprint reviews

Functional Requirements

Continually refine understanding with other engineers about high- and low-level technical details, product goals, and user needsWork with the Product Owner and/or Product Manager/Team to understand and help refine functional requirements for new products or upgrades and have a clear understanding of the definition of “done”Contribute to cost-benefit analysis by providing estimates for features and determining feasibility

Software Architecture

Have good knowledge of software architecture tools and techniquesProvide architecture-aligned solutions

Minimum Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field with at least 5–8 years of hands-on programming experienceCloud service experience and cloud knowledge preferredSolid working experience with C++Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quicklyAbility to quickly understand architectural fundamentalsFluent and concise English communication, written and oral
