On the Data Tools team we build the tools to solve real-world healthcare challenges with data. How? By empowering our Data Science, Analytics and Product teams to create personalized healthcare recommendations so that our mission to deliver highest quality medical outcomes in a cost-effective manner can be fulfilled. We provide business impact by designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed systems to collect, aggregate, and govern data. We use a combination of open source tools like cube.dev and superset built on top of our own data warehouse and use Python, Go, and Scala in our daily work.
This is a remote role reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, Data Engineering.Required QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 5+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including C#, C++, Go, Java, Python, or Scala.3+ years of experience building data ingestion and transformation pipeline using any of AWS Athena, Apache Flink, or Apache Spark.1+ years of experience developing production-grade frontend applications.Direct ownership and responsibility for development, implementation, and production release of multiple data processing solutions, using distributed systems.Deliver impactful outcomes for your team and the business through high personal output.Experience mentoring engineers, improving their skills to maximize their impact.Physically located within the United States of America.$138,380 - $254,111 a yearThe United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $138,380 - $195,470 + equity + benefits Zone B: $159,137 - $224,791+ equity + benefits Zone C: $172,975 - $244,338 + equity + benefits Zone D: $179,894 - $254,111+ equity + benefits
